Wike on CBS Innovation Nation

April 24, 2019

Wike’s Salamander Stroller-Bike and its creator Bob Bell were featured on Henry Ford’s Innovation Nation on CBS

Wike’s Salamander Stroller-Bike and Wike’s Founder Bob Bell were featured on Henry Ford’s Innovation Nation on CBS on February 9th, 2019. Albert Lawrence, one of the show’s hosts, visited our manufacturing facility in Guelph, Canada in October of last year to get a demo of how the stroller-bike works, check out the space where it was created and meet the inventor, Bob himself!

Bob discussed the design process, complexities and innovations involved with creating the world’s first and only stroller-bicycle. Viewers got a peak at the original prototype created in 2012, which hardly resembles the final model and bicycle stroller that hundreds of people around the world are now enjoying.

Highlights of the episode can be found on Innovation Nation’s Facebook page. Our American followers can view the full-length segment through the CBS website. Innovation Nation showcases products that have been designed by forward thinking visionaries and highlights their creative and inventive spirit. All of us at Wike are honored to have been part of the show!

Innovation Nation liked our Salamander Stroller-Bike so much that they entered it into #MoMadness, a competition between innovations! Let’s show the world how much we love and need sustainable transportation! Thanks for your support!
